We’re not doing elimination communication, not by any stretch of the imagination. But I swear, Mr. E poops almost every time we put him in the Bumbo seat! It’s almost like he wants us to being doing EC! Oy Vey.

awe… cute. jumping out of lurkdom to give a little shout out to ec. we started when Ms. Baby was about 3 months old and did it part time. it was surprisingly easy and after we started, I think we only had to clean about 2 dozen crappy diapers (she seemed to hold her poop in and wait to be on the little potty to do her business). we were using cloth too and it was awesome when she ‘graduated’ at about 18 months and we didn’t have to wash anymore diapers… whoot!

We do EC, and have also noticed that the bumbo that seems to, uh, inspire movement! Q only pooped in her bumbo once, unfortunately it happened to be the one time I put her in it naked. It was, uh, enough of a scene such that she never went in it without a diaper again!

I seem to recall that the Bumbo inspires pooping in a lot of babies!
And OMG, he is getting so BIG and so grown up looking!

LOL!! I love it!
I swear, Andrew pooped in his high chair every time he was in it. We used to call it the poop chair.
